“ The tuna di Chianti was one of the most memorable dishes Ive ever had at a restaurant. Theres a story behind it pork shoulder not tuna. The beans and the pork shoulder simmer for days in rosemary infused olive oil and broth. So aromatic and flavorful! My husbands grilled cheese was made with the most beautiful, freshly made chiabata roll which the chef makes each day. Highly recommended! ”
“ Truly exceptional food. Unique, interesting, flavorful. Its the place we take visitors when they come to town, and its dangerous having it 2 min from our house. My wife and I have been 3 times now and each time was amazing. The hen, hugs you like an old Italian grandma, makes you feel warm and comforted, with deep rustic comforting flavors. The lasagna is magical, light and authentic Italian, literally dissolves in your mouth and left me at a loss for words for at least 2 full minutes, its so good it should probably be illegal. The pasta trio is exceptional, and a fantastic way to taste a bit of everything. The Pinot Noir soaked pear, is amazing and unique, Ive ordered it the last two times Ive been, and its always gone too soon. The NY strip is also amazing, I had that my first trip in, and while it is very good, there are so many other interesting options that I likely wont order it again until Ive been through everything else! My wife had the trout, and it to was earthy and divine. The staff has been very good the last few times we have gone, and the chef is a delight to speak to. The vibe inside is comfortable and feels warm and inviting This most recent trip we took my best friend who is 70 and from NYC and full blooded Italian, we have had a lot of excellent food in some extremely nice and reputable places together in the last 20 years and he put it in his top 5 dining experiences ever. In short, if you are looking for some Italian American style Italian food youll be disappointed, but if you want authentic cuisine, and a culinary adventure, something that will leave you wanting to start the whole night over after you are finished and something truly unforgettable then make this a must stop. Is it a touch expensive? Of course, as it should be....and you can tell in the quality of ingredients and the presentation. Worth. Every. Penny. Every time we have been. Cant wait to go back! ”

“ WOW! What a delightful dinner experience! Our server was sensational! I got their price fixed several course dinner magnificently paired with tasty wines. We sat outside with our very well behaved dog under a stunning redwood and surrounded by greenery with a romantic fire. Such a lovely space! The chef is quite talented! Everything was extraordinary and beautifully paired with wines! To start he made a chilled cantaloupe soup with salmon roe and I have to admit that I didnt know what to expect but it was so incredibly delicious. Compliments to the chef! We are coming back next time we are in the area! ”
